Laura, our host, was perfect and provided everything we needed, including fresh fruit, milk. the location was calming and ideal for those who want to be close to the airport without staying at a boring and expensive hotel. the attention to detail in the hut was impressive, from the beautiful porthole window in the bathroom to the cozy love-seat where you can watch planes fly past. the communication with the hosts was excellent and they provided accurate directions to the property. we highly recommend the Gatwick Hideaway Hut for its convenience, comfort, and friendly atmosphere. We loved the convenience of being only 10 minutes away from the airport, making it the perfect choice for an overnight stay before an early flight. The hosts were incredibly friendly and their communication was excellent, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The attention to detail was impressive, with a small supply of tea, coffee, cereal, fruit, and milk awaiting our arrival. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly and the shower provided a much-needed hot and refreshing experience. Despite the close proximity to the airport, the hut was well soundproofed, and any aircraft noise was minimal and didn't disturb our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the love-seat outside, watching the planes fly by until around 10:00pm. It added a unique and exciting touch to our stay. The location was private and peaceful, allowing us to relax and unwind. For dinner, we highly recommend the nearby Half Moon pub, which served delicious food and had a selection of real ales. The hut comfortably accommodated our group of four adults, with cozy beds and ample room. We even had the pleasure of meeting the hosts' friendly dogs, who added to the charm of the place. Although the main road was a bit of a distance away and the pebbled road made it slightly challenging for those with heavy luggage or trolley bags, having a car or using a taxi would be more convenient. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hidden retreat near Gatwick Airport.
